Make it mobile
VeriFone wants to use the MX925 unit as a payment terminal on taxi. The problem is that the terminal only has hard line Ethernet, not wireless connectivity. Bluemap Design’s industrial design team work closely with the electronic engineer to add a wireless module which enables the cellular connectivity to the terminal. The iO module is a simple plug-in unit that requires no wiring. We also added a USB port for customers to charge their phones and mobile devices. We engineer and manufacture the final product in an aggressive schedule. In the end, the iO module seamlessly integrates into the MX925 unit and turn it into a mobile payment terminal. It satisfies both functionally and aesthetically.
