Taking good pictures, plain and simple is Kodak’s P-880 specialty. Kodak was not interested in just establishing a mere presence; it wanted to enter the market big. It turned to BlueMap to help accomplish this. The challenge was to design a body for this digital camera that was compact in build, packed with speed and performance. And because of its many manual features appeal to the more demanding avid photographer.

To describe its visual attributes the P-880 has a robust and compact design with good balance between function buttons. With its high performance lens, the P-880 has an excellent in-hand fit and feel.

Its black body with satin and high gloss finishes accent the serious look and feel of the camera. There is a large right-hand grip made of rubber and a sliver of steel inset that helps to guide the hand in position and secure it. The iconic, ergo-geometric form is comfortable to hold and feels securely balanced in the hand, enhancing picture taking. It has a textured grip for added security in slippery situations. A joystick driven menus guide easily to access functions, and shortcuts are provided for the highly skilled enthusiast seeking greater efficiency.
